Continuing professional development for trainee and qualified teachers.

With over 20 years of ‘teaching’ experience, I have taught and mentored many students, including both new as well as established teachers.

To encourage continuing professional development, I can offer guidance to trainee yoga teachers or qualified yoga teachers who feel that they would like more intimate inspiration or advice with all aspects of teaching yoga. These sessions can encourage you to develop your teaching skills and knowledge.

I offer mentoring as a private one to one service, or you may prefer to share the time and cost with another colleague, or you could gather together your own small personal group (maximum 4 people). Theses sessions usually take place in my fully equipped Log Cabin Studio, Woburn Sands, Milton Keynes. You may choose any topics of your choice, I’ve given some examples below. Please do contact me to discuss further, I am very approachable.

My intention is to support as well as motivate you so that you feel comfortable, authentic and self assured when taking your unique presence as ‘The Seat of the Teacher’

Cost

£50 per hour for a personal 121 mentoring session

6 week course – £270

Group sessions would be £50 plus an extra £10 each per hour (so 2 people would be £70 and 4 people would be £90)

The maximum number for a group session in my cabin is 4, however if you would like to form a for larger group, I can hire a local studio.

If you would like to chat more or to arrange a mutually agreeable date please do contact me

I am now a fully fledged yoga teacher and teaching regular classes myself. The words “thank you” seem inadequate to express my gratitude towards Brigitte, I can’t thank her enough for her support whilst I was studying on my teacher training course. Towards the end of the course, I was feeling very overwhelmed and had my final practical and theory exams looming. At the time, I had other stuff going on in my life and the course was stressing me out so much that I was seriously considering calling it a day. Then by chance, I was attending a class with another teacher and told her about my dilemma, she recommended Brigitte for mentoring sessions. I didn’t look back, it was a complete game changer, Brigitte welcomed me in to her cabin studio space like an old friend, she spent time with me on the mat and instilled confidence back in to me. She helped break things down more so that I understood when class planning, she helped me find my voice and reassured me that I was capable. It was through her belief in me, that I was able to elevate my teaching knowledge and ability to a new level and finally believe in myself. I not only passed my final assessment with flying colours but I was also highly praised for its content. – Annie

Testimonials

Thank you Brigitte for supporting me in my journey to becoming a yoga teacher. The 121 mentoring sessions really helped cement and bring to life the learnings from my course. Brigitte encourages you to bring your ideas to the table, then works with you to explore your ideas building around the theme as well as offering comments and suggestions. This allowed me to question my thought processes, yet gave me the space to find my own voice and style of teaching. – Melissa

I have been teaching for 2 years, however, every now and then I find that I doubt myself, or I am in need of inspiration or motivation. Brigitte has so much valuable wisdom to share, it doesn’t matter what I ask, she seems knows the answer or guides me in a way whereby I find the answer myself. In fact I always bring a list and we work our way down it, then before I know it, my passion for teaching is reignited. I come away restored and believing in myself again, I highly recommend Brigitte for both private mentoring and advanced teacher training courses, she is a really genuine person and has taught me loads, she also gives so much of her own time. – Deb
